Tom Tom Club

First impressions are everything. The laid-back, dazzling atmosphere of this new cafe
with the
infectious name: The Tom Tom Club is definitely ready to impress. Entering this
dim bar along the busy street of Dlouha is like crossing into The Twilight Zone. This
unique club offers a destination far
away from the cyber-franchise trend where visitor’s can find good drinks, coffees
and beer on tap.
With its uniquely ornamented Czech red-blood walls, antique and modern
furniture, the laid-back Mediterranean atmospheres pulls a first time visitor in and
literally wraps itself around their senses. Ornate chandeliers oversee the
strategically placed soft lamps that work together to fashion a comfortable
atmosphere. The décor is as eclectic as the Tom Tom's wine list.
The clientele are mostly young and trendy Czechs who are out to talk, drink, and
smoke and enjoy the atmosphere. The quick coffees, and relaxing Campari's on ice,
intertwine like a DNA
strand with its building's atmosphere to infect any visitor in search of that perfect
place for a first date and quiet evening out.
