Responsibilities:
• Assist in all marketing activities to promote our games with the overall objective of acquiring and retaining new users and building our brands globally
• Assist Product Managers, Community and Senior Management on day to day activities that include planning, executing and reporting on marketing initiatives across all platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One)
• Work with marketing and development team to organize assets necessary for Warframe promotion through various marketing opportunities and channels
• Learn and manage the process for submitting marketing assets to Sony and Microsoft
• Research and recommend new marketing opportunities to the team
• Become an expert at our games and stay in tune with all development changes and upcoming updates to recommend new ideas to further promote the game
• Establish key relationships with the Dev and Community Management team to stay on the pulse of game development to anticipate future marketing opportunities
• Assist team in meeting all necessary marketing deadlines which may involve activities beyond the marketing scope to achieve results (i.e. having a talent for capturing screenshots, testing builds while waiting for updates, pitching in wherever possible, etc.)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Management or equivalent program
• Good business sense to search out new marketing opportunities and assess ROI
• Ambitious, detail-oriented, analytical, resourceful and a quick study
• Good under pressure with tight deadlines and often changing task parameters
• Outgoing personality and enthusiastic; must be a proactive creative problem solver and self-starter, who works efficiently and effectively to get the job done at the highest quality level.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Computer skills with standard programs like Excel, Word
• Familiarity and experience marketing with all relevant Social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Twitch.tv, Machinima, Youtube, etc.)
• Strong analytical and creative skills – from identifying trends, to brainstorming new marketing ideas
• A passion for games and the games industry
Pluses:
• Bilingual - Additional languages and/or knowledge of the games market in regions other than North America are a huge asset.
• 1-2 years of experience in games industry and/or online marketing
