JAMA PUB

If you're looking for a cold beer and some great American cuisine, look no
further than Jama Pub, located near Wenceslass Square. Since 1994, Jama has become
synonymous with great burgers and good times in the center of Prague. Jama offers
a delicious variety of American and Tex-Mex specialties along with traditional Czech
food. With a good selection of draught Czech beer as well as an extensive cocktail list,
visitors are sure to find something to quench their thirst. Their convenient location makes
it a popular stop for English speaking expatriates and locals as well.

The pub is decorated with eclectic pictures of Rock’s most infamous stars such
as Hendrix, Clapton and the Beatles. Despite the cellar-like walls, low ceiling and
nickname "The Hollow", the pub is actually quite large and the service is friendly. The
fast paced atmosphere and good music appeal to locals, foreign nationals and tourists
alike. Jama often organizes sporting events, parties and happy hours. The centrally
located bar is surrounded by wooden tables where people can snack from a menu with
a variety of choices ranging from fried chicken wings to spicy burritos. During the
summer months Jama opens the Oasis Beer Garden where people can enjoy services from
the bar and kitchen under the cover of Czech "Lipa" and walnut trees. It offers a unique,
relaxing oasis from the busy streets of Prague. They also offer a non-smoking Internet
cafe with complimentary Wi-Fi connection for notebooks. Both services offer a 384 Kb/s
connection.

Jama is also one of just a few places in Prague to cover American sports such as
American football, ice hockey and baseball. They even offer weekday specials as well as
some for the more popular sporting events or celebrations. During Mardi Gras Feast they
offer a menu provided by butcher, Krkovieka. Every Tuesday there are specialty burgers
like the French, Mexican, Swiss, American, Cajun, Chihuahua, and Jerk Burgers. On
Wednesdays, patrons will find an excellent opportunity to taste some of the best steaks in
the city and at a friendly price. Just some of the selections of steaks Jama offers are New
York Strip, Caribbean, Tasmanian, King Klacek, Celtic, and Fanfare for Tulipan. Every
Sunday from 17:00 is Super Wing Sunday where visitors can choose from a variety of
wings for 75 Ke a portion. The selection of delectable wings includes Popocatepetl,
Spicy Juniper-Cranberry, Marfy's, Jama, and Nuclear. They even serve a large breakfast
for the early risers.

For tourists looking for some comforts from home with a dash of local flavor,
Jama Pub is the hot spot destination in Prague.
