JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job duties include executing a variety of repetitive tasks in the production process that use a wide range of fabrication techniques, testing techniques, materials, subassemblies, tools, and equipment.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
High School diploma or its equivalent is preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in bench and/or floor assembly and testing is required. Ability to read, understand, and execute a wide range of standard machine operating, mechanical and/or electrical assembly and test procedures which are communicated orally and in writing.
JUDGMENTAL/ANALYTICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Methods, procedures, schedules, work sequences, and the like are predetermined. Most errors are caught at existing or next assembly or test step. Errors cause delays, impact quality, customer satisfaction, and have an impact on operations.
Communications Responsibilities:
May provide straightforward information on progress, seek clarification on procedures or other instruction. Contact generally limited to the unit at all levels.
