- Compliance Manager - Pell
This position is responsible for developing, administering, monitoring, and overseeing all Bank Compliance programs including BSA, AML, and Sarbanes Oxley. Serves as Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer responsible for administering and monitoring the Bank’s CRA program and performance.
Essential Duties Include:
- Develops, administers, monitors, and oversees the Bank’s compliance programs to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and rules governing all areas of the Bank including but not limited to Operations, Lending, Marketing, IT, and Deposits.
- Directs BSA/AML and Sarbanes Oxley compliance, ensuring that there are sufficient internal controls.
- Maintains a Risk Assessment of regulations impacting the Bank that include inherent risk and the areas of the bank impacted.
- Acts as an advisor and approver in new product/service development to ensure that compliance risks are identified and addressed.
- Oversees all functional areas with respect to suspicious activity investigations. Makes final decisions on possible suspicious activity for reporting to the FinCEN and Board of Directors.
- Manages annual CTR exemption process, including annual review and bi-annual CTR exemption reporting and re-certification.
- Monitors business activities, procedures, and documentation for compliance with banking regulations.
- Researches compliance laws and regulations, and provides guidance to bank management.
- Coordinates FDIC and other compliance examinations and acts as liaison with regulators during compliance examinations.
- Provides management with information to accurately determine the Bank’s extent of compliance.

- Internal Audit Manager - Pell
This position is responsible for the internal audit function and the outsourcing of audits to ensure the Bank is in compliance with laws, regulations, and Bank procedures.
Essential Duties Include:
- Develops and implements an internal audit program. Coordinates and supervises financial and operational audits of branches and departments.
- Identifies areas that have the highest levels of risk to the company and ensures a system of internal controls is in place to mitigate these risks.
- Coordinates the outsourcing of audits to review, examine, and appraise independently all procedures and operations of the Bank. Arranges for outside audit firm to report directly to management and to the Board.
- Reports to management on the audit scope and on financial, operational, and compliance conditions. Makes recommendations to management in regard to risk areas, preventive actions, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepares appropriate response to all external and internal audits and examinations.
- Maintains a comprehensive internal audit program for the entire bank.

Based out of our Alameda South Shore branch this person is responsible for processing deposits and the payout of funds in accordance with Bank procedures. Responsible for recording all transactions accurately and balancing each day. Provides outstanding customer service. Ability to work at various locations necessary.
- Client Services Associate - Pell
The Client Services Associate is responsible for providing customer support by handling the implementation and training for new Cash Management products and services. This position will be required to provide initial and ongoing support on site at customer locations as well as at the Bank or by phone.
Acting as the central resource for all external and internal clients, this position must be able to provide support and trouble shoot problems by providing technically sound information to customers on products and services.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years Branch Banking experience required
• Knowledge of operating systems for both PC and MAC
• Knowledge of online banking and bill payment applications
• Knowledge of Cash Management products and how they work
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Knowledge and ability to perform new account ‘opening’ process which includes establishing a new customer relationship on core banking system and collecting required documentation for each account

- Credit Analyst - Pell
In a team-oriented environment, maintain a high degree of customer service by supporting loan management, credit approval, and loan documentation with timely and accurate processing of customer financial information, information requests, and other duties as assigned in support of credit management staff.
Essential Job Functions:
With guidance/oversight:
- Support loan officers with partial preparation of Credit Recommendations.
- Order documentation for approved credit actions.
- Prepare Short Form Credit Recommendations.
Independently:
- Utilize loan accounting system to research loan activity.
- Maintain tickler database and, in coordination with Branch contacts, prepare customer correspondence requesting financial information prior to credit expirations.
- Using analytical abilities and established spreading guidelines, accurately translate basic financial reporting of business and personal entities into bank-standard format for further analysis.
- Using published underwriting guidelines, accurately underwrite and recommend less complex personal and business credits for approval/decline. Express credit recommendations by accurately completing the bank-standard Short-Form Credit Recommendation form.

- Accounting Policy Manager - Pell
This position requires strong understanding of FASB, SEC and other sources of accounting and disclosure requirements for the financial service industry and experience in research and implementation of new accounting pronouncements and communicating complex accounting issues to stakeholders. Responsible for drafting and maintain accounting policies and procedures. Prepare/review financial statements, including SEC Form 10-Q and Form 10-K in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other regulatory reporting guidelines; assist in maintaining procedures and internal controls to prevent error/fraud in financial reporting, including Sarbanes Oxley requirements; coordinate preparation for internal and external audits and regulatory examinations; and assist with reconciliation of the acquired loan portfolio in accordance with SOP03-03, and other accounts and issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research and implement new accounting pronouncements in accordance with GAAP; document alternative accounting treatments when new business activities arise, recommend appropriate accounting solution and communicate complex accounting issues to stakeholders (business line managers, Controllers, CFO, auditors etc.)
- Responsible for drafting and maintain accounting policies according to GAAP;
- Responsible for preparation/review of periodic external regulatory reports (e.g. earnings release,
